I wanted a camera. So I won a national coloring contest, sold the prize (a set of encyclopedias), and used the money to start a photography business. I even cold-called strangers from the phone book to book clients. That’s when I realized: no one was coming to save me. I’d have to be unstoppable.
🎓 Reverse Engineered the SAT Before SAT Prep Even Existed (1975)
Long before companies like Princeton Review were founded, I was trying to solve a problem myself.
After scoring a disappointing 1200 on the PSAT, I became obsessed with understanding how the SAT actually worked Instead of endlessly memorizing content, I began reverse engineering the test itself — eventually reducing it to a structured 54-rule decision system. Within 9 months, I raised my score to 1580.
🏆 Graduated High School Valedictorian in Just Three Years (1976)
Just to prove I could. I outperformed students older than me and left early. I’ve never liked waiting for results. Let me graduate Dartmouth Phi Beta Kappa days after my 21st birthday.
🎵 NYC Street Musician Earning $150/Hour (1985)
After graduating from Dartmouth, I took my piano to the streets and built a 6-figure lifestyle busking in Manhattan. Ask me to play something sometime.
🎶 Published Songwriter in NYC & Nashville (1987)
A psychic reading led to a meeting with music legend Jimmy Bowen. Within weeks, I was a published songwriter. Again — it’s not luck. It’s leverage, timing, and guts.
💰 Built a $3M Business from $500 (1998)
I founded The Medical Massage Group with a $500 investment. It became the largest pregnancy massage center in the U.S., doing over $3 million per year.
🖥️ Internet Multi-Millionaire (2005)
By spotting a loophole in Google’s early ad system, I went from zero to internet millionaire in under 12 months. The story was featured in the NYT Bestseller Get Rich Click.
🎓 Pioneered One of the First Fully Online SAT Tutoring Systems (2010)
What began years earlier as informal SAT coaching for friends and relatives eventually evolved into one of the first fully online SAT tutoring companies during the rise of Skype. Over time, I combined the 54-rule SAT execution system I originally developed in high school with decades of marketing experience and insights gained while working closely with admissions officers as a Dartmouth District Enrollment Director. The result was a structured system designed not just to produce reliable 1530+ SAT performance, but to strategically position students for major merit scholarship opportunities — ultimately helping families secure millions of dollars in scholarship awards over the years.
🎤 Comedy Club Founder & Headliner (2019)
After realizing how much people loved hearing my war stories, I became a headlining standup comic and founded Costa Rica’s only English-language comedy club.
📚 International Bestselling Author (2022)
My book Creating Joy became a global bestseller, written in the aftermath of the deepest heartbreak of my life: the loss of my only child. It's the most important thing I’ve ever written.

From Costa Rica, I filed as a real presidential candidate for the U.S. in 2028. Not because I think I’ll win — but because someone has to prove what can be done. I lead by example.
